It’s taken a number of years but as a snowhound/snowlover, I’ve finally “matured” enough to not let emotion take over logic!
Sure, if you love snow even the hint of a snowstorm gets you excited. However, the threat of a blockbuster snow event takes your mind and excitement into an entirely different zone.
Models are good but in my opinion, anything more then 3 days out is to “iffy” as far as a forecast. I have been burned to many times over the decades to not get emotionally excited to early. This storm applies.
Hopefully, it hugs the coast and the NYC Metro area gets walloped. If not, I’m not setting myself up for disappointment anymore.
