After years of planning, in-fighting and nail biting , on 9th. September 2007 , the CLF greeted its first customer. The trials and tribulations of this vital piece of infrastructure have been well documented on the Construction Thread, so this new thread is a " live archive" recording all arrivals since that momentous day last September Grand Princess , on her second visit in 4 weeks, greets the " Round the World Clippers", they had just crossed the finishing line having completed 35,000 miles with New York the winner ,20th July 08,the Crystal Symphony should have been our 6th Cruise liner this summer to have berthed at the CLF, but the RFA Lyme Bay beat her to the punch . So she was moored in mid-river, but I have included her on this archive just to ensure that ALL visitors are duly recorded.
